The Deli, beautifully appointed in the Oasis pool surrounds, is a great meeting point. Here light meals, hot and cold beverages, excellent coffee, quick-shop food items and a tempting choice of delicacies are the order of the day.
Overlooking an aquamarine pool and the green lawn of Mandela Park, the Deli at Steyn City is officially open for business. Since opening in March 2015, The Deli is sure to draw a loyal epicure following as already with the most delicious smells wafting out the door, this food hub is proving to be a very popular meeting spot. The Deli is a daytime eatery serving breakfast, lunch and all-day fare.
The food is prepared by the Broadacres Spar and has already set tongues wagging and taste buds salivating with their scrumptious array of cakes and pastries and their healthy menu that changes daily and includes quiches, salads and baguettes. If breakfast is what you're looking for; they serve croissants, pain au chocolats, pain au raisins and a range of Danish Pastries.
All the dishes are prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients and they take great pride in preparing each dish and plating their passion and love for food. Their quest is to give their customers delicious, well-prepared foods made from scratch.
Offering a relaxed atmosphere, The Deli spills out onto open parklands with an interactive play zone for the children and a resort pool. The Deli can also be hired out for evening events.
“Steyn City is an integrated, lifestyle focused development offering enormous opportunities for residents and business alike, in the northern area of Johannesburg. The ethos of providing peaceful residential living, together with business and employment opportunities for the local communities already established in the area, played a meaningful role in our decision to open our Steyn City Deli.
Steyn City is the largest and most prestigious development of its kind on the African continent, with massive investment in infrastructure and services. With this kind of vision and planning going forward, we decided it was a great opportunity for us.
The Steyn City Deli is our way of contributing to the success of this truly remarkable project, and we look forward to building a long term relationship with the residents and businesses in the area, by providing them with excellent service, wonderful meals and a unique dining experience at our Italian styled Deli,” says Pat Tarr, owner of The Deli Steyn City.
